This quote will detail the quantity and cost of any or all of the following:
A Patrol of this nature is to ensure that all doors and windows are secure so as to prevent easy access to premises from outside. There are limitations to this class of patrol. It is not possible for us to assess the security of the interior of the building. Should entry be gained by an intruder through the roof of the premises it is possible that a crime could pass undetected until the premises are re-opened. An undetected fire or flood could prove to be disastrous causing financial ruin.
These types of patrols are a combination of internal and external patrols, an example would be as follows:
A factory enclosed inside a cyclone wire fence - the patrolman would perform an internal review of the fenced area but only an external patrol of the the factory premises.
As a general rule, internal patrols incorporate external patrols, enabling the patrolman to carry out a thorough patrol of the interior and exterior of a building thus ensuring that it remains safe and secure whilst unoccupied.
This patrol is one that is often incorporated in conjunction with an alarm system installed on the premises to be protected. There are many types of alarm systems but no matter how sophisticated such systems are, there is reliance on the human element to ensure that they are set up correctly and switched on when required. Human error can occur, which can lead to the system not being switched on. This type of patrol ensures that all heaters and appliances are switched off, and that all windows and doors are secured. An alarm cannot switch off an appliance, turn off a tap or to check that a major fire is not smouldering in any location.
This type of patrol is generally used in conjunction with Lock-Up Check. A spotlight check is performed from the vehicle to check the premises for forced entry, smashed or opened windows that may be in dark or isolated areas.
This customised patrol is carried out in the event of an alarm activation to ascertain the nature of the activation including:
